Residential heating service in Fresno

Nalk handles furnace and heat-pump repair, maintenance, installation, and replacement requests for homes in Fresno and the Central Valley.

If the house is not heating

Tell the office whether the system starts, which rooms are affected, and whether you notice a new sound, an odor, repeated shutdowns, or an error message. Confirm thermostat settings against the manual, but do not open or repair the equipment yourself.

If you smell gas, leave the area and call 911 from a safe place outside. Do not operate switches or try to find the leak. See PG&E’s gas-safety instructions.

Repair begins with diagnosis

A technician inspects the system and explains the findings and proposed work. Ask why a component needs repair or why replacement is being considered.

A repair diagnosis has a visit charge. Read what a repair visit costs for the first-hour charge, additional time, parts, after-hours rates, and travel charges. The technician explains repair options and costs before you approve repair work.

Planned heating care

Checks depend on the equipment. A furnace and a heat pump need different work. See the seasonal maintenance guide and the ESA prices and terms for Nalk’s planned-care options. Maintenance cannot guarantee a system will never fail.

Installation and replacement

Installation and replacement estimates are free. Already have a repair, installation, or replacement quote from another company? Ask about our free second quote. A request becomes an appointment when the office confirms the date and time.

Discuss heating capacity, ducts, controls, existing cooling equipment, installation work, permits, final checks, and warranty terms in the written quote. Tell the office the equipment type before arranging service so staff can confirm the scope.
