Air-treatment options for commercial HVAC systems
An air-quality concern needs a building-specific look at sources, ventilation, filters, and equipment. Nalk can discuss HVAC work and compatible accessories for your site.
Start with the concern
Tell the office about odors, dust, filter condition, visible moisture, or a change in HVAC operation. The building’s use, existing ventilation, and maintenance history matter. Do not assume an accessory will address an unknown source or a moisture problem.
Ask what each proposed product does
Particle filtration and UV or carbon accessories use different processes. Request the exact model, intended use, test method, maintenance needs, and written warranty. Do not treat a laboratory reduction percentage as a measured result throughout your workplace.
If APCO-X is proposed, read the manufacturer’s installation and warranty document (PDF) for that model and ask the installer how it fits your HVAC system. Do not open a UV lamp enclosure yourself.
Get a complete quote
The price depends on the selected equipment and installation work. Ask for the full product and installation scope before deciding. This page does not promise disease prevention, employee health outcomes, or a universal pollutant-removal percentage.
If the HVAC system needs a fault diagnosed, the commercial diagnosis visit charge is $129 for the first hour. Parts are separate, and the charge is not credited toward repair or replacement. If diagnosis needs more time, the technician asks before continuing at the hourly rate or provides a repair quote. Parts and labor are quoted before repair work. Visits after 5 pm and on weekends use time-and-a-half rates. A $150 travel charge applies per visit in Coalinga, Hanford, Lemoore, Oakhurst, and other communities farther from Fresno; confirm the charge with the office before arranging a visit.
Plan follow-up care
Ask who changes the filters or lamps, what service access is needed, and how maintenance will be recorded. For a workplace health concern, use the appropriate health or occupational-safety professional. An HVAC accessory does not replace that advice.
