Heat pump installation in Fresno and the Central Valley

A heat pump provides heating and cooling by moving heat. Whether it fits your home depends on the equipment, building, installation work, comfort needs, and running costs.

Understand what would change

An air-source heat pump moves heat outside in cooling mode and brings heat inside in heating mode. Some homes can use existing ducts; others need duct changes or a ductless approach. Ask what would happen to your existing furnace, AC, thermostat, and electrical supply.

The Department of Energy’s heat-pump guide explains the main system types. It does not establish the cost or savings for your home.

Ask for a home-specific comparison

  • What heating and cooling capacity does the home need?
  • What duct, electrical, or other installation work is included?
  • How will the system operate on colder days, including any backup heat?
  • What model, controls, efficiency rating, and written warranty are quoted?
  • How do your utility rates and usage affect the running-cost comparison?

Discuss repair before replacement

A comfort problem can have causes that do not require a new system. If you need a fault diagnosed, A repair diagnosis has a visit charge. Read what a repair visit costs for the first-hour charge, additional time, parts, after-hours rates, and travel charges. The technician explains repair options and costs before you approve repair work.

Installation and replacement estimates are free. Already have a repair, installation, or replacement quote from another company? Ask about our free second quote. A request becomes an appointment when the office confirms the date and time.

After you approve a quote

The office arranges and confirms installation. Review the scope, permits, removal, testing, and handover in the written quote. The installer should explain the controls and maintenance instructions for the selected equipment.
