Tell the office your city, what the AC is doing, and when the problem started. Mention any recent repair, new sound, water, or displayed error. Staff discusses the visit and confirms an appointment date and time. Sending a request does not book a visit.
A technician inspects the system, explains the findings, and quotes repair options before you approve repair work. Do not open electrical panels or handle refrigerant yourself.
What a repair visit costs
The residential visit charge is $89. It covers the first hour of diagnosis. Parts are separate, and the charge is not credited toward a repair or replacement.
If diagnosis needs more than an hour, the technician explains this and asks permission before continuing at the hourly rate, or gives you a diagnosis and repair quote to approve. Parts and labor are quoted before repair work begins.
Visits after 5 pm and on weekends are billed at time and a half. A $150 travel charge applies to each visit in Coalinga, Hanford, Lemoore, Oakhurst, and other communities farther from Fresno. Call the office with your city to confirm the charge before arranging a visit. Fresno, Clovis, and nearby cities have no travel charge.
For commercial diagnosis, the first-hour visit charge is $129. The same separate-parts, no-credit, additional-time approval, after-hours, and applicable travel terms apply.
Maintenance and replacement are different requests
Tell staff whether you want planned maintenance or have a known fault. Nalk’s Energy Savings Agreement includes planned maintenance, priority scheduling, and 10% off replacement parts. The discount does not cover labor or new units. Read the current plan’s full price, duration, included visits, eligibility, and cancellation terms before enrolling. Nothing renews automatically.
